Betsy Jenkins is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) who brings a wealth of experience in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer to her current role as a therapist at Sunstone Therapies. With over 10 years of experience in developing psychosocial support and wellness programs for individuals and families with advanced cancer, Betsy has a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological needs of those impacted by cancer. At Sunstone, Betsy leads an ongoing psychedelic integration group for past participants in the group administration of psilocybin for cancer and depression clinical trial. She also serves as a therapist supporting the Investigator Initiated trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for adjustment disorder (AD) in dyads of patients with cancer and a concerned significant other and the MAPS Expanded Access study for MDMA-assisted therapy for patients with treatment resistant PTSD. Betsy is committed to whole person healing and earned her Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. In her free time, Betsy enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors, on the Chesapeake Bay, and pursuing her love of watercolor painting.
