Horizons is a community-supported endeavor and registration is our primary source of sustenance.


We recommend registering early. Registration rates increase regularly and our conference has sold out in the past.


Registration is available on three tiers, on the honor system.


A limited number of scholarships are available for those who cannot afford our public rates.

  • Where and when is the Horizons New York conference?

    Horizons New York 2024 is taking place May 8 - 11, 2024.


    The venue is the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) at 1216 5th Ave, New York, NY 10029.

     

    NYAM is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which is accessible by public transit via the 6 at the 103rd St station or via the 2/3 at the 110th St station a short walk away.

  • How can I receive registration support?

    If you are having trouble with the registration system, please contact registration@horizonspbc.com.


    Phone support is not available.

  • Are meals included?

    For Standard and Discount registrations, lunch is available as an add-on and must be registered in advance.


    For Patron registrations, lunch and coffee is included.


    For your convenience, lunch on-site is recommended.

  • Is there a prefered hotel?

    There is no official conference hotel.


    The closest option is the Marriot Courtyard Upper East Side on East 92nd St.


    Other hotels in Midtown East, East Harlem, the Upper West Side, and Long Island City are also convenient options.


    Union Square and Nomad area hotels are also typically 30m door-to-door.



  • Are scholarships available?

    Yes, a limited number of scholarships are available.


    The program is open to anyone, not just students.


    Applications must be received by April 1.

  • Are day passes available?

    Day passes will be available starting April 1, at a considerable premium to registering for a 3-day conference package.

  • Are CE credits available?

    Due to recent changes in CE / CME requirements from accreditation boards regarding the topic of psychedelics, Horizons will not be offering CE / CME credits for any workshops or presentations this year.

  • Is this event accessible?

    Yes, our venue is ADA-compliant for mobility.


    Please contact us if you have a vision, hearing, or mobility need so that we can best support you.

    Entrance

    Please enter NYAM on East 103rd St. Once inside, our main auditorium is on the ground floor and  elevators to take you to the 2nd floor for classes and the 3rd floor for additional conference programming.


    Restrooms

    All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors.


    Parking

    Our venues do not offer on-site parking. We do not recommend driving or parking in Manhattan, in general. If you require parking, make an advance reservation with a garage.

  • How do I get to the venue?

    Bicycles and transit are recommended ways to arrive at our venue. 


    We do not recommend driving.


    NYAM is located near the following subway stops and lines:


    The 103rd St stop on the 6, with a short walk down 103rd st.


    The 110th St stop on the 2/3 lines, with a 15 minute walk through the north east corner of Central Park.


    We do not recommend driving or parking in Manhattan, in general. 


    If you require parking, make an advance reservation with a nearby garage.

  • What is your refund or transfer policy?

    All registrations made at this time are final sales and non-refundable. 


    Refunds are the sole discretion of the conference.


    If you have a conference registration but cannot attend, transfer requests can be made until five business days prior to the first date of the conference. 


    Transfer requests for classes may require approval of the instructor to ensure qualification.

  • Can I add to my registration?

    Yes, please click the “Already registered?” button at the bottom of the registration page here.

  • May I video / photo / record the talks?

    In order to create a trustworthy environment for sharing and at the speakers’ request, no recording of the event is permitted by anyone for any reason. We also ask that you consider any personal stories shared during the event to be private unless otherwise noted.

  • Is group registration available?

    Group discounts are available.


    If you would like to arrange for a group sale, please email sponsors@horizonspbc.com to get more information. 

  • Is lodging provided?

    Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee. 

  • Are Horizons tickets tax-deductible?

    Registration is not tax-deductible.

  • Can I volunteer at the conference?

    As we are community-oriented event, we welcome volunteer help. The volunteer form for Horizons New York 2024 will be available this spring.
