With over 25 years of experience in managing medical practices and programs, Kim brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, marketing, finance, and clinical practice and program development to her role as Chief Operations Officer at Sunstone. She excels in establishing partnerships and fostering relationships between physicians, executive leadership, clinicians, administrative staff and patients. Notably, Kim oversaw the funding, design, and development of the Bill Richards Center for Healing. Her previous positions include serving as the Director of Cancer Services at the Aquilino Cancer Center at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Practice Director for Maryland Oncology Hematology, the largest oncology practice in Maryland. Kim holds a Masters in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology. Recognizing the potential of psychedelic medicines, she believes they offer a transformative opportunity to address the emotional distress associated with cancer and complex mental health challenges.
