James R. Dixon, PSS (he/they) is a research associate and psychedelic facilitator at the Social Neuroscience and Psychotherapy Lab with the Portland VA Health Care System. They are a service-connected US Air Force Veteran with the lived experience of being Black and Queer identified. James is also a Black Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the Multnomah County Health Department with a focus on upstream prevention, training and Peer Support.
