Scholarships

There are scholarship seats available for every Horizons program, although they are limited in number.

If you are interested in attending Horizons on a scholarship basis, please read the page below and fill out an application.

Scholarship applications for Horizons New York are open until April 1, although we recommend applying as soon as you are able.

Who can apply for a scholarship?

Horizons is primarily supported by registration sales, so the scholarship program is limited to those who simply cannot attend without a scholarship.

The scholarship program is open to everyone in need-- not just students or medical professionals.

We do prioritize applicants with a clear goal of service to a larger community, which we understand can take many forms.

Yes, we award scholarships to people who have never been to a conference before, and to people who are new to this field.

What does the scholarship include?

All scholarship registrations include admission to the 3-day conference.

Some scholarship recipients may also be offered workshops.

Unfortunately, our scholarship program is not adequately funded to provide travel, lodging, or meal support.

The Horizons New York 2024 Scholarship Application is closed.

To apply for a scholarship to Horizons on May 8-11, 2024 in New York City, please fill out the below application.

The application can take up to 30m to complete, as it includes a personal statement that may take some time to write.

While the application window will be open until April 1, we recommend applying as soon as you are able.
